Each on of us no matter your name, age, background, financial status, tenure in the faith will be tempted by the tempter, but God is faithful to provide a way of escape. The question is will we take the way of escape? The tempter does not use any new tricks or temptations. He tempts us through the lust of our flesh, the lust of our eyes and the pride of life all of which our Lord and Savior was tempted while in human flesh. He overcame temptation by refuting the tempter with the WORD. His desire to fulfil the purpose of God superseded the temptation and He was the Word!. We are drawn away by our own lust, but be not discouraged we have been given the power to overcome.
